A bit about me
Aside from spending time with Paula and my grown-up children, my passion would be sport. Not so much playing these days but witnessing the unscripted drama of any sport unfold is rarely time wasted for me. Cricket is my favourite and I would spend as much time as I could watching anywhere from the Village Green to The Oval. When the nights draw in and the only cricket is on the radio in the middle of the night, I can often be found browsing the internet auction sites for something ticky-tocky to add to my old watch collection.
Experience
I am responsible for all things monetary, ensuring that the financial performance of the business is measured and reported accurately, and that our future plans get us to where we need and expect to be from a financial point of view.
I bring a strategic view of how the operational and tactical priorities affect the future bottom line, and an understanding that when reviewing how and why we do things, ‘the good’ is often the enemy of ‘the best’. I can also often find an occasional inspirational quote or story to illustrate a thought or idea.
