A bit about me
I love music and sing with a choir and play the harp. I’m a keen gardener and spend many happy hours growing vegetables (and a few flowers) in our garden. I also do a fair bit of volunteering and am a Trustee of a local charity that gives grants to small organisations with the aim of building stronger communities. At home you will often find me reading or knitting – and sometimes both at the same time.
Experience
I am a Senior Associate at Muse, specialising in Board effectiveness and governance advice.
After a long career in the pensions industry, specialising in governance, I spent several years running my own coaching business, working with executives (including Chairs of Trustees) and small businesses. More recently I have worked with charity and not for profit organisations and supported them on Board effectiveness and management, as well as facilitating strategic discussions in a wide range of organisations.
I enjoy combining my industry knowledge, coaching skills and wider business experience to help Boards identify exactly what they want to achieve and how to do it.
