A bit about me
Spending time with my family and friends is important to me, whether that is at home, in our local area, or whilst visiting unfamiliar places and trying new things. Aside from having fun with (or taking care of!) my young children, I enjoy walking, reading and sports. I serve as a Trustee of a charity that supports our local hospital and help, where I can, with the local Scouts group.
Experience
Since joining Muse in early 2023 I have been delivering outsourced pensions management services and governance consulting projects for clients.
I originally fell into pensions through an A-Level trainee scheme, where I enjoyed the work, I was doing. Having spent some time at KPMG, most of my background is in-house. I spent almost 11 years at National Grid, holding three separate roles across their Trustee Services and Corporate Pensions teams. My final role was Governance and Operations Manager within a Trustee Services team, supporting the trustees of their larger Defined Benefit scheme (one of the UK’s largest DB pension schemes at that time). In 2018 I moved to UK Power Networks where I was Secretary to the Trustees for a DB and a hybrid pension arrangement.
I really enjoy my work and aim to channel my enthusiasm and experience into supporting and delivering effectively managed, well-governed pension schemes, by adding value through the work I do and by building positive relationships with stakeholders.
