A bit about me
I am taking a short sabbatical, returning end May 2025. My husband and I help in our local church. Community is important to us, plus it’s great to have lots of friends locally to call on if needed. I like to be active whenever I have some free time and preferably out in nature, so you'll usually find me walking, wild-swimming or sitting and breathing outside. I’ve also been on a lifelong quest to become a wine connoisseur but require much more practice.
Experience
I am a Director at Muse responsible for our outsourced pensions management team. I also act as outsourced Pensions Director for high profile schemes requiring senior industry experience and oversee the relationships for our key clients.
I’ve been managing pension funds for over 25 years, mainly running in-house pensions teams prior to joining Muse. I bring a lot of practical experience of how to run a pension fund well and get things done. Most of my in-house roles have involved dual aspects; being both Head of Pensions/ Pensions Manager for the sponsoring employer but also Secretary to the Trustee Board.
Most recently that was as the Head of Pensions & Benefits for Rexam PLC (a FTSE 100 company acquired by a US competitor, Ball Corporation) and previous pensions management roles in-house for Fujitsu Services and Société Générale Corporate & Investment Bank.
I work best by building good relationships; so enjoy creating teams where everyone understands the pension scheme’s strategic objectives as well as the plan for getting there – which really helps Trustee Boards measure success.
